Holiday Pajama Party Extravaganza!
We wrapped up 2024 with our cozy and fun Pajama Party!

Dressed in comfy PJs, our students enjoyed a day filled with exciting holiday-themed activities. The school-age students played bingo, competing for fun prizes while enjoying the cheerful atmosphere.
A delicious breakfast prepared by Mrs. Melissa was a highlight of the day. The children enjoyed warm pancakes, fruit, and milk, making it a special treat. The festivities continued with storytelling, sing-alongs, and creative crafts that had everyone engaged and smiling!
Adding to the magic of the day, we received a special letter from our elf, Webster! Each child went home with plenty of treats and gifts to celebrate the season. It was the perfect way to end the year on a high note!
December Birthday Shout Outs!

A special shoutout to our December birthday stars! We celebrated with lots of laughter, treats, and fun activities. The children enjoyed a special birthday song, delicious cupcakes, and colorful decorations to make their day extra special. Each birthday honoree received a personalized card signed by their friends and teachers, making it a memorable occasion.

Birthdays at TCC are always a joyous time, and we are grateful to celebrate another year of growth and happiness with our students. We hope your birthdays were as wonderful as you are!
Secret Santa Book Exchange

TCC celebrated the holiday spirit with a Secret Santa Book Exchange! Each child drew a name and carefully picked out a book to surprise their friend. The anticipation built as students eagerly waited to find out which book they would receive. The moment of exchanging gifts was filled with excitement and smiles as the children unwrapped their books.

This activity was a wonderful way to encourage the love of reading while embracing the joy of giving. Books are an invaluable tool for expanding young minds, and we hope this exchange inspires our students to dive into new stories and adventures.
As we step into the new year, we encourage families to continue fostering a love for reading at home. A book is not just a gift; it is an opportunity to explore new worlds and ideas. Happy reading!
Gingerbread Nativity Fun!

What’s the holiday season without a little gingerbread fun? Our students worked together in teams to build and decorate gingerbread nativities. This activity was not just about creativity but also teamwork and cooperation. The children discussed their ideas, decided on designs, and carefully assembled their nativities using icing and candy decorations.
The process was full of laughter and problem-solving as they navigated the best ways to keep their structures standing. The children took pride in their creations, showcasing their teamwork and artistic skills. At the end of the day, a raffle determined the lucky winners who got to take them home—congratulations to Edward and Miyanie!
The gingerbread nativity project was a fantastic way to bring the holiday spirit into our learning environment. We look forward to more hands-on creative activities in the future!
December Student of the Month: Jorden McNairy

Jorden McNairy We are thrilled to recognize Jorden McNairy as our Student of the Month! Jorden’s classroom behavior has taken a fantastic turn in the right direction.
Despite facing challenges, he has shown resilience and a willingness to grow. His intelligence and energy now shine through as he helps staff with tasks like prepping snacks, cleaning tables, and setting up activities for his peers.
Jorden has also become a positive role model for his classmates. He is learning to manage his energy in a constructive way, ensuring that his enthusiasm benefits both himself and those around him. His dedication to self-improvement is inspiring to his teachers and peers alike.
As we continue into the new year, we look forward to seeing Jorden’s progress and growth. Keep up the amazing work, Jorden—we couldn’t be prouder of your hard work!
What's Next??
January 2025!
We are excited to share with you what we did this January in our next Newsletter as it was filled with exploration, discovery, and new knowledge.
The new year brings exciting learning opportunities! In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, our students will explore his legacy and the significance of his work. Through storytelling, art projects, and interactive discussions, we aim to teach the values of kindness, equality, and perseverance.
Additionally, we held a student vote to decide on January’s learning theme. After thoughtful discussions and video sessions, the kids chose Medical Month! This theme will introduce them to the world of hospitals, doctors, and all things medical. We will explore how medical professionals help people, learn basic first-aid skills, and even create fun role-playing activities to bring the lessons to life.
Let’s make 2025 a year of learning and growth!
